In this tutorial i will explain u how to gain some good amount of traffic for your website.First i want to explain something that there two main SEO methods blackhat and whitehat,there are some between them like greyhat and other but we will stick to whitehat one in this tutorial since blackhat will get u fast results but also short results and will get you banned from the all search engine in no time.Whitehat is a bit slower but give u long term results.OK lets get to the point.First thing you will need is site of course,adjusted to be search engine friendly so their bots can crawl it easy.Need clear meta tags,h1 and h2 tags,not to many keywords since Google doesn't rank your site via keywords anymore, but its good to have them since all other engines still use them. Second is to submit your site to search engines.There is lot of sites that will submit that for ya on lot of search engines.Now u
have 2 choices there free and payed.If you are not in the mood to pay for submission u can do it for free on some websites although u will get it submitted on smaller amount of engines ,but at least u are not paying for it.Since Google is most popular engine and u probably want your site to get some high rank on it and here is how to do it .
Google ranks your site now by number of sites linked to your site and quality of your site content.So after u make some quality content on your site go to some webmaster forums or any other good hosting and website related forums with big amount of members .hang a around a bit there post some good posts  and put your site in your signature.U wont believe how much traffic is coming from forums. Find some sites related to what your site is about and and contact admins to get link exchange with them ,go for big sites since its better to get one high traffic site than 100 low traffic ones. Link directories are also good source of traffic so Find some link directories and submit your site,as for targeting the high ones this one is going to be pretty hard since they check your site and if its not good for them they will reject it (if it doesn't have good content,submitted to wrong category,have totally small page rank...) Also check other sites and blogs and help people and post link to your site with reply.u can do it on yahoo answers although yahoo doesn't like it much but they won't remove it.Register also on Google webmaster tools and help them crawl your site,submit full sitemap of your site which has to be in XML format I don't recommend u to buy traffic from sites since that is temp solution and can get u banned from search forever,Like i said before u also need to have good quality content.


About content :
Give lot of free stuff and free services on your site,also if u are selling products on your site make sure u have lot of free stuff too.like at least 70% of free stuff and 30% of stuff for sale.Make sure that free content is fully your work and not someone Else's ,make sure its not posted on any other site than your
own site because Google doesn't like duplicate content even if its your content and u are owner of both sites
