How to be 90% safe from stealers, scam sites and similar things

There are lot of different dangers out there on the internet, lot of different malwares viruses and other bad things just waiting to get onto your pc so here are some tips and advices on how to be safe as much as possible.First thing u need is a good antivirus by good antivirus i mean some that not only removes infections that are already discovered but also removes new ones that are not discovered.my recommendation is Avira or Kaspersky. Both of those have advance heuristic so they are monitoring application behavior to see if its possible malware or not.If u chose and of those make sure u setup heuristic level on high or on maximum if u are paranoid enough :D.Next thing is to find a good firewall. Not much to say about quality of firewalls.I recommend sygate personal or professional firewall set on ask option. When u install it and run it it for every app that is trying to connect the internet will u allow it or block access to it.u can make rule for standard applications that u use whole time, for example
browsers,IM and other constantly used applications. When it ask u for them for the first time just check the „remember my answer“ and click yes so it wont ask u for that application anymore ATTENTION :do that only for applications that u are sure they are not infected.Second reason why i recommend
that firewall is that when it ask will u allow some application to connect internet it also give u pretty detailed report about where your application is trying to connect.IP address so u can check if app could really connect there or not.

For example if u run your Firefox browser and its trying to connect ip that is pointing to Firefox update page there is no reason to block it from accessing it :D Next thing that would save u allot of trouble is to make sure your browser doesn't remember any passwords from your logins. Its
allot better to keep those passwords in some text file if u are unable to store them than to allow our browser to save them since if u get infected with some password stealer they cant be read from
text file.
Also don't save passwords on your IM or ftp clients since those are also grabbed by password stealers.Another way people are loosing their passwords often is via scam pages.Hmm u are probably wondering oh no am not so stupid to fall for some scam page, but trust me maybe u already have but doesn't mater not. Here is how to stay safe not to fall for it.Always check the url bar to see if u
are on right url for example if u are opening facebook make sure url is http://facebook.com or WWW.facebook.com and not something else like facebok.com or whatever. Also i recommend u to use Firefox browser instead of any other because it can be fully customized for full security (in this case i will stay only on part of it related with scam and malware sites).under options under security tab u will find couple of options called :block reported attack sites, block reported web forgeries and warn me when sites are trying to install add-ons
